(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

6 March

O my God, yesterday was just exactly what I needed.

I slept in until after 12.30p, I got up, I puttered around on the computer, I watched several episodes of Sex and the City on TiVo and Farscape on DVD, I ate chicken cordon bleu and cuddled with the kitties, it was spectacular.

Sally, for one, seemed to be quite thrilled, if a little confused with my being around all day long, and kept jumping in my lap for five or ten minutes at a time. There is only so long Sally can settle down in a lap and be petted, she is an important cat! She has things to do and pompoms to play with! Also, she only wants to be petted for the exact length of time that she wants to be petted, and when that alarm has rung inside her head, it is hand-biting time.

Of course, it wasn't all the live-long day that I got to be at home, for me there is no such thing as a whole entire day and night off with nothing to do and no-place to be at a certain time, because I am Poor Little Butterfly, so I had to go in for the opening night of the new show.

I finally remembered not only to bring in my computer, but my headphones, and was so happy watching Farscape that I actually didn't sprint out the door the second the intermission was over, but hung around for a bit, watching the end of DNA Mad Scientist, a swell episode.

They had a decent house, I made some money, I got to rest, and I think my cold is done. The only way the day could have been more perfect was if I also found a big bag of money.

Today's horoscope:
Romantically speaking, there could be a couple of roadblocks for you to overcome now -- but only if you let them get in the way. If anyone can think and plan their way out of a dilemma, it's you. Get busy.

One year ago today:
I actually started writing in a paper journal last night, because otherwise I know that I would have been all "What the hell happened on Thursday?" by the time I either get my computer back or Mom's starts magically working again.
