So yesterday I got up at 9a because I thought I would need to bathe, but my hair was pretty clean, so I just had time to hang around, which was swell.

I went to the supermarket and got more boxes of cake mix and brownie mix and frosting and sprinkles and things, and decided to expand a bit and got both strawberry and lemon frosting for the white cupcakes to mix it up a bit. Not everyone likes plain white cake and plain white icing as much as I do!

We had a nice big house last night, nice and big and alcoholic! I love a drinky crowd. I actually had to go out during the first act and buy more wine, they drank so much before the show!

I made $87. Eighty! Seven! Dollars! 22 glasses of wine, 8 cupcakes, Snapple, all kinds of things. Admittedly, I spent $50 yesterday on supplies, including the 4 bottles of wine, but I'm still $50 in profit.

I was skipping home, singing about my $87. I've made $157 this week on concessions, and there are still four shows this weekend. I love this! Next week is one-acts and I probably won't do so well without an intermission, so hopefully this weekend will be profitable.

When I got home, I had three cupcakes in celebration!

When I left work, I saw one of those double-decker tourist buses with the LED display on top, saying where it goes, you know, like "Uptown Loop" or "Village Loop". This one said "Holiday Lights Loop".

So I'm figuring that either it's an old display that they lit accidentally, or the Passover lights are fabulous this year!

Besides, greazy sounds sleazy, so when you are talking about hands that you are going to wash, it works, but when you are talking about your fine product that you want people to shell out for, not so much.
