3 October So yesterday I went to the theatre to help paint. Ah, let's not fool myself, I was there to see Mark. Surely he would be helping to paint his own set, wouldn't he? Especially since he can't help during the week, because he has to work during the day. So I was sure that he'd be there, painting merrily away. O, he totally wasn't. But hey, I got to feel all useful by painting several black things yellowish. Not to mention the fact that I got to make my OCD extremely happy by touching up the formerly black things with a tiny little paintbrush. Such a tiny little paintbrush. Everyone was laughing at how pleased I was, spending ages poking at black dots, making everything perfect.
Watched more episodes of the first season of Alias yesterday. All I have to say is, don't listen to the commentary tracks if you don't know what's going to happen later in the season or in the next season. In the commentaries on disc 1 they were careful to not give anything away, but the commentary in the Q&A episode, they seem to think that everyone watching it has not only already seen the rest of the season but season 2 as well.
I hate CBS on Sundays during football season! The schedule is so fucked up that if I want to watch Cold Case, one of my favourite shows, I have to basically choose to never find out the end of any show because the first half hour is taken up by the end of 60 Minutes! Because the schedule is pushed forward by the dumb football game that always goes half an hour over! So my question is, if it always goes half an hour over, why not, o I don't know, schedule it in a slot that is half an hour longer than the slot you currently schedule it in? Rather than asking my TiVo to bend over and take it up the ass? Just, you know, wondering.
After watching the first two episodes of the season, all I have to ask is, how bad is Will and Grace now? SO bad! This used to be a good show, I almost certainly remember, I didn't even mind the never-ending stunt casting. But now it has turned into the most trite, flat, charmless piece of "hey, look at the celebrity" shit.
Caught up with Stef, Renee and Sars.
