(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

4 February

After rehearsal, Omar and I were going home together on the bus and at one point, we were the only two people on the bus, so I took the opportunity to tell him about the dream that I had about our deciding to have a baby.

And the interesting thing was, we really seriously talked about it. He told me that he has always wanted another child, and when he was living out in LA when Lorelei was born, his aunt, who is a Santeria bruja, read his palm.

The first thing she said was, "You are going to live for a long time, but what a complicated life!" She didn't know the half of it, as that was twenty years ago before it really got as complicated as it could be. She also told him that he would meet another woman and have another child. So he's always sort of expected it.

Well, that would be me, I am that woman. I will have his child.

We were so into our conversation that we missed our bus stop, getting off a couple of blocks later.

We took two steps, and found a $20 bill on the ground. It was wet from the rain, and nobody was around, so it had been dropped a while ago. We split it, and considered it to be terrific good luck.

Today's horoscope:
Expect visitors. Your bandwidth is broad enough to accommodate new information while still meticulously checking things off your list. These days, every waking moment is quality time.

One year ago today:
And the guy who played the IRA officer was great, whom I totally never remembered seeing in my life before, but whom I have no doubt I insulted terribly when I said that because he ushered for me several times and we have long conversations during the French. Whoops! All handsome leading men are starting to look alike to me.
