Guess what? It was Christmas yesterday! No seriously!

So I got up pretty early, as I usually do on Christmas morning, but Mom got up at almost the same moment, which was kind of weird, as I usually have a lot of time to myself on Christmas morning.

Made blueberry muffins, another Christmas morning tradition, and went to the 11.30a mass rather than the 10a, since the 10a is the choir mass and they hog all of the singing. There's a lot of room at the 11.30a Christmas mass, who knew?

Then we went home and made the turkey, etc, and opened presents. I got a camel sweater and pants and a green suede poncho (they say if you wore a fashion the first time, you are too old to wear it when it comes around again, but since I think that ponchos were in fashion when I was 5, I get a by), a blue sweater, an autumn-coloured sweater (Mom thinks it's burgundy and I think it's orange, therefor it is autumn-coloured), a scarf from Joan, a book light and a picture frame from Teri, a knitting pattern a day calender (I vow to make one thing from that book this year, seriously!), my underwear, socks, bras and jammies from Target and Victoria's Secret, etc. And a new digital camera! Not as good as my old one that no longer works, but pretty good and it takes movies, so I'm perfectly happy.

Ate dinner, everything was swell, no fights, an excellent Christmas as things go.
