20 June So last night was Omar's night with his cousin, and when his show was over, they ran off and he didn't say goodbye. It actually didn't bother me, though I wished that he had done so, I know how he needs to bolt after he does a show. Later that night, he called me while I was rehearsing with Fran and left a message apologizing for running out. That just about put me away. I was so amazed that he not only noticed that he didn't say goodnight, but that he knew that it meant something to me, that it was important to me. So it wasn't the apology that was important, but the awareness.
Fran and I rehearsed until 2a, a real rehearsal with Cynthia this time, and blocking and everything, not just lines. There's lots of good stuff happening in Act III. When the hell will I learn Act IV? Whose idea was it to do a four act play anyway?
Lenten entries missed: Amy got all bloggy, won the Legacy Award, was a pile of slop, proved that if you ever want to forget what a goof you were in college, it's best to move to a different town, and had some really romantic pillow talk with her husband.
