(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

31 January

Life is wonderful, did you know that? Life is a glorious cycle of song, a medley of extemporania!

The reason I was so upset on Wednesday is that The Raccoon was refusing to pay the bill for the rental cars, she wanted to pay it next week not this week, it needed to be in next month's totals, but if we didn't pay it they were going to take back all of the cars, all 100 cars.

Now I have a really good relationship with the rep over there, ad I knew that if she said that she couldn't do anything if the bill went over to February, then she was telling me the truth. And I knew that if it went that far, it would be a giant disaster, and I could see no way to fix it beyond paying the $91,000, but she said no.

Yesterday morning I came in to have a fresh stab at her and...she was not in! So I asked the controller and he said yes immediately! They won't take the cars away! I get to be the hero who got the bill paid! I will be able to sleep tonight! Life is very very sweet.

So now, it seems, we aren't going to do The Hostage for our second Modern Classics production in the spring, but now it seems we're doing Lion in Winter instead!

Of course, there's a great role for me in The Hostage and nothing for me in Lion in Winter, but I don't mind because I love that play. I saw it when I was a kid and got the play out of the library the next day. I love the dialogue, I love the characters, I love the story, I couldn't care less if there is no role for me. The idea is Jon as Henry, Jackie as Eleanor and Omar as Phillip, which is wonderful casting.

Hmm, a dark, handsome omnisexual prince whom everyone is in love with? Where does Le get these insane casting ideas?

"I made Louis take me on Crusade. I dressed my maids as Amazons and rode bare-breasted halfway to Damascus. Louis had a seizure and I damn near died of windburn... but the troops were dazzled."

O, I do love this, it's just the funniest thing ever. You put your name in and it puts it in a commercial slogan. From Gael.

"More Kymm Please."
"The Omar That Eats Like A Meal."

Today's horoscope:
The good times are a springboard into events whose outcome is still up in the air. Virgo would rather find the edge than get soft just doing nothing.

One year ago today:
Remembering for two years something that I want and need? Now that's a good present-giver!
