(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

20 December

So yesterday we had to spend the day getting the cars fixed, so that was pretty festive.

Mom rarely uses the Bug, so the AAA had to come over and jump it, then we went to the garage. She had to get the mirror fixed so that she could drive it, and we needed to get the Saturn checked after the overheating that it did yesterday.

Not the most Christmassy way to spend the day, but not bad, really. At least we'll be able to drive places while I'm home instead of sitting in the house sadly, having groceries delivered.

And in the mail I got my new cell phone!

It is the most beautiful cell phone in all the land! I remember how much I loved my old phone when it was new last year, but now it is old hat. This new one is colour! And it has a great address book where, instead of putting every different number in separately, you can put many numbers under one name with a little symbol next to it meaning home or cell or whatever, and if it's a different number (like for Omar I have his parents' number and his wife's), you can record a little note in your own voice clarifying what the number is.

It is so cool! Unfortunately, it doesn't have the game on it that I am addicted to in my old phone, "Pairs", which is a version of Concentration, matching pairs of pictures. I am crazy about this game, I play it way too many times a day, and it's not on the new phone. But hopefully I can download it. And it has internet access, so I can check my email on my phone!

I am clearly a person who is too connected, if I can't got for a few hours without checking my mail, but I embrace my addiction freely if I get to have this cool new phone.

Of course, I can't use it yet because they haven't switched over my plan, but I'll get to soon. The anticipation is the best part.

One thing is good about being home, I sure smoke a lot less when I have to go outside to do it!

Today's horoscope:
If you find some time alone this weekend, don't waste a minute of it. Writers and artists dance easily past a creative block, laughing all the way. The story that has churned inside you begins to tell itself.

One year ago today:
I'd clearly follow Omar off a cliff with a smile on my face, so what's a little bad acting?
