(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

6 April

So yesterday was cold cold cold.

For some reason, however, I wore my summer uniform with a jacket over it. I was a bit chilly, but walking around watching everyone else all bundled in their winter coats made me feel like one of those people in a music video walking in slow motion while everyone else is speeding along. I felt like the sun.

Apparently, there will be six to twelve inches of snow tomorrow. Wasn't it spring the week before last? What the fuck is going on with this weather?

Yoga was good. Due to the cold and a couple of people being out of town, I was the old timer in the class, the only other student was a new girl who this was only her second class and she had taken a different kind of yoga for her first class. So I was the expert!

It was an easier class than the last two weeks, mostly concentrating on breathing rather than waving arms and legs around. I wasn't even in pain today! Of course, that could be because I am in better shape...o, I can't even keep a straight face during that one!

After class was rehearsal, the first one with the other two casts.

It was my first rehearsal without drawers ("I'm going to be taking off my underwear this time, I just didn't want you to be surprised." "Okay." "Not like it's anything that you haven't seen before." "You're not kidding, I was in the seat during Boys to see everything perfectly!" "But this time you'll be much closer and it'll be better lit!") and our first time seeing how people will react.

Omar was startled at all the laughs, but I wasn't. Some of it is uncomfortable laughter, but there are genuine laughs in this show, he just never thought about that possible reaction. God I love this show, I can't believe that I only get to do it eight more times.

And then when I got home, I had a package! That nice Perfect Circle sent me a nearly full bottle of my Funeral Home perfume for putting up my Oscar entry! Just in time, too, as I really want to wear it in the show.

Today's horoscope:
Speak carefully, if at all. Too many cheap shots now will undermine your chances for an effective delivery later on. If you think that you know it all, some sharp-eyed surprise will happily prove otherwise.

One year ago today:
I never knew that I cared so much about what people thought until I started buying the occasional album with a picture of someone in a cowboy hat on the front.
