Yesterday was astounding, perfect. It was as though the weather was making up for last weekend's rain and chill.

I woke up slightly panicked, "O my God, I didn't set the alarm, I'm gonna be late for work! Wait a minute...it's Saturday! Ahhhhh..." It was the four day week that fooled me. But man, there is nothing at all nicer than thinking that you have to get up and then realizing that you don't after all.

I was going to watch A Room With a View from Netflix, but I looked out the window and saw the kids out there and it looked so beautiful that I just tore outside and stayed there all day. As you can see from my rack:

I hung with the kids, with Baldrick, with the dog, I read and knitted and just basked in the beauty of the day. I was so completely, utterly content. The day, my life, my home, my family, it's all so good and I'm so lucky.
