I wasn't as sick yesterday as I expected, and when I woke up this morning is wasn't really thath bad, and since as I said, it will be getting worse before it gets better, I decided to go into the office and not waste a sick day.

I almost had to go to the theatre last night, though, which would have killed me. It's Le's new show, his first full-length in a while and he both wrote and directed it and it would be politic for me to attend, besides the fact that he is my friend and I want to support him, but I was just horrified at the idea. Fortunately, the show was canceled.

Now, it's awful that it was canceled due to illness of the lead actress, and we have to eat the theatre rental because there is nothing else to put in the space, but I don't think I could have taken leaving work early on a day when I did not have to rehearse and then going to watch a show all miserable and sickly.

I went home and collapsed instead.
