(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

22 November

Yesterday morning, I sent Omar and email saying that someday, someday they'd do the end of Act II right, like it is in my head, that I have absolute faith in that occurring.

He answered, "How do you picture it in your head. Are we not doing it right?" and I told him no, that they were supposed to walk out together, that he is always too near the door, that they never have that thing between them with his energy pulling her energy into his bed.

Act I was a bit rocky, but the show really kicked in in Act II. Omar was absolutely on fire in II-2, he and Winni clicked like it was him and Cynthia, and that exit was aces. My favourite bit was when he was leaning against the doorway and on his line, "In your white satin kimono?", you know, the bit where he usually rubs the money up and down his chest, he rubbed the money on his dick.

It was a startlingly raw moment. I wondered had I missed it in the past, and asked him about it afterwards.

"Um, is II-2 always like that? Is it always so hot?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, do you always rub the money on your dick?"
"No, I did that for you."
"Believe me when I say I fully appreciated it, and realize that you have to do it every time from now on."

The reviewer from Curtain Up came. I hope they appreciated that moment like I did.

After the show, he was walking me to the van and we were talking about what we would do after the show was over.

"I'm going down to Lancaster with my wife and my daughter and my cousin and I'm not coming back until the 1st."
"You're not going to your folks for Thanksgiving?"
"Are you kidding, didn't you hear me say that I wanted to rest?"
"O yeah, I must have missed that part."
"What are you doing for Thanksgiving?"
"Nothing."
"Do you want to come up with us?"
"Really?"
Yeah, it'd be fun! We're driving down on Tuesday, but you wouldn't be able to come until Wednesday, right?"
"Yeah, I have to work until Wednesday."
"Well, you could come on the train, I think there's one at 6.30p. If you miss that one, you wouldn't be able to come until Thursday, but you'd only have to take the train one way, we could all fit in the car coming home on Sunday."
"But isn't this a family thing?"
"So what?"
"I don't know Dina or Lisette very well, though I really like Lorelei, she and I get along great."
"I'll tell you the truth, they're a little intimidated by you."
"Me?"
"Yeah, they find you a little strong, but I know that if you had some time together, you'd all really like each other. Just think about it."
"Okay, I will!"

So hey, it seems like I have somewhere to go for Thanksgiving! Of course, the fact that I had nowhere to go was a little bit of a lie, though not really, because I don't, in fact, have anywhere to go for Thanksgiving day, but the Callahans and I were planning on having Second Thanksgiving on Saturday. Not no more, though!

One year ago today:
"When you told your list you would try not to let your journal fall any further behind before Thanksgiving, did you mean you wouldn't be removing any entries that were already posted? 'Cause I still don't see no Nov 16."
