So I called home yesterday to find out if my swag had arrived, and Katie answered the phone.

Hi, it's me, is your Mom home?

KATIE
Nope, she's out.

ME
That's terrible!

KATIE
Why?

ME
Because she should be sitting by the phone, anticipating my every need!

KATIE
She is?

ME
I guess she didn't get the memo. Okay, talk to you later.

KATIE
Bye.

ME
Hey, it's me again.

KATIE
She's just walking up the street!

ME
Really? I called because I'm looking for my box, did it arrive?

KATIE
I saw your note on the door, do you want me to look around the side of the house?

ME
Yeah, would you?

KATIE
Wait, here's Mommy. It's Kymmie, she's wondering if her box got here. It did? She said it did.

ME
Really? Seriously? 'Cause it wasn't supposed to come until tomorrow, really.

KATIE
Did it really come? O wait, it didn't. No, she's being sarcastic and I can't tell what really happened! Okay, okay, it's here.

ME
Yay!

And then when I got home, I picked up the box and opened it up, my fingers crossed that the stuff would be good and well-made and stuff, since of course I chose the company because it could deliver quickly, I didn't know a damn thing about the quality.

And I looks, and just started screaming! They are great! They are so cute! I showed Katie, and gave her the very first one, and she thought that it was a scream. So there you go, my logline: "One thirteen-year old New Jersey cheerleader can't be wrong!"
