O God, o Jesus, I wish I was dead. I am so sleepy. Last night I wasn't up until 2a playing the Sims, I was up until 3a playing the Sims.

And when you play the Sims alot, you think of everything as a Sim, so I keep thinking that my energy bar is almost completely in the red. Today is going to be a real trial. I got a spontaneous Love Bed baby for the first time, and I got the baby to grow to a child, which has never happened before! Little Angelus has left the cradle. I'm so proud!

Wasn't that worth only getting five hours of sleep?

The Raccoon sent me home from work, I was going to do overtime, but she wouldn't let me.

"Did you watch this week's Angel"
No, not yet."
"You have to watch it! I am dying to talk to you about it!"
"But I'm a couple of weeks behind, so I have to watch the other ones first."
"Do it!"
"But I have all this filing to do!"
"Give it to the part-timer! She hasn't done a minute's filing!"
"Okay, okay, I'll go home and watch Angel, I promise I will!"

I am also a few weeks behind with Buffy, so I knew that I couldn't watch the musical episode anyway.

So I went home and looked at my TiVo, and there was something missing. The musical episode of Buffy! Where was the musical episode of Buffy? And then I realized what it was, that I had set up to TiVo 24, and the musical episode of Buffy was actually slightly over an hour, and I accidentally canceled it when I put in 24! Argh!

But this is why I keep my mother on the west coast. I was able to call her and have her tape it and send it to me right away. And since I wouldn't have been able to watch it last night anyway, it didn't bother me much.

However, since I was on the phone with Mom, I had to help her with her new computer.

I swear to God, the woman took two computer classes, how can she not have learned any terminology? How can she still be talking about little squares and arrows and not knowing what control-alt-delete means, or why sometimes when you are reading something, one of the letters of a word will be underlined or what the start menu is. Did they teach her nothing at all?

She finished the setup, then had to turn it off, exhausted.

Then I started watching Angel and realized that I was more episodes behind than I had thought I was, I had half of the episode with the old man and "Fredless" (I'm so glad that she's not crazy anymore, that was getting really old) and "Billy" and then it was 3a and Angelus had grown up to a child, and I had to go to bed.

Which brings me back where I started, my energy bar all the way in the red. I can't wait to come home and go to sleep.
