(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

6 November

So I finally caught up yesterday, and then what do I do? I immediately got a day behind again! I'm a rebel, baby, you can't stop me.

So, I went to the doctor yesterday, leaving work at 2.45p, which was certainly fun.

I love my doctor, she's the best. I went to her for the first time when I was so sick in January, because she is Cynthia's doctor and Cynthia was the one dragging me to the doctor, and she accepts my insurance, but she turned out to be a great choice.

She takes my insurance, she's really nice and caring, and she just never stops talking. And since I, too, never stop talking, sometimes we would both be talking continuously, barely stopping to breathe.

The funny thing, though, was last January, I remember quite clearly barely being able to get up the stairs, that there were simply flights and flights of them, and then yesterday I walked up one very short flight, then looked around and said, "Where are the rest of the stairs?"

I was really sick in January, and I think I only realized how sick when I saw how few stairs there were.

Anyway, the nurse took my blood pressure and said that it was high, which I was sure was wrong, because no matter what else may be wrong about me, I have always had textbook perfect blood pressure, so when the doctor came in, she took it again, and it was not high, in fact, it was textbook perfect.

She gave me a breathing treatment and refilled my inhaler and told me I have bronchitis, a revelation that did not make me jump back in shock, and told me to come back in three weeks so that she could test my cholesterol and maybe we could start dealing with my asthma.

I mean, I have asthma, I know perfectly well that I have asthma, I exhibit every symptom of asthma, I just have never been diagnosed by a doctor with asthma! But I told this to the doctor, and she said that she is pretty sure I have asthma, but we'll do a proper test in three weeks.

Then, after stopping at the store to fill my antibiotics and cough syrup prescriptions, I went home and thought, "I have so much time, it's 6p! I can get things done and get to bed early!" and proceeded to play with the Sims until 2a.

Because it doesn't matter how early I get home, I still stay up until 2.
