Another day of sleeping in, of sleeping late, but I have back entries to do, Canadian entries to do, and vacation entries from March to do (isn't it cute how I still think that I am going to do those?), so getting another day behind was not to my liking. This'll have to fly, though, as it's already 10.19p. At least is rained in the night and it is lovely and cool now!

Rehearsal again last night. God I can't wait until we open! I know that what we are having is an ordinary-length rehearsal period, but I cannot take it, I'm so bored. Four weeks for a 23 minute play, who the hell needs that? Admittedly, some of these actors need that, but I'll bet that if we had less time, they would not have taken so much time getting to this point.

That said, it really is getting better every time we do it, I was surprised at seeing some lovely spontaneity between Greta and David, nobody is calling for line anymore (thank God, because I'd throttle them), though David is still calling Jeannie, "Jenny", and they are completely missing the event of the play and stuff, but you can't ask for everything in this world.

Well, you can, but then you are all disappointed because you don't have it. I am at the point in rehearsal where I must see what I have rather than regret what I cannot have, what the actors are incapable of giving, and what I have is pretty damn good. As long as they don't miss the event.

Remember how everything was so easy at work? Well, again we did a big check run and halfway though it skipped a check number internally and fucked us up the ass.

Today we will probably be stringing the engineers up by their entrails, and I don't want to miss that, so I'm off.
