You know, I realize that I keep carolling on about my hair as though I am the only person alive ever to have hair like a Muppet, but it really is very thrilling for me! I mean, I'm 36 years old, I should have gotten this out of my system already, but I am young at heart.
Either that or I'm entering my second childhood.
The reason that I bring this up is because I kept wanting to say a joke whenever anyone at work asked me why on earth my hair was purple. I wanted to say that it was to remind people of all of the war orphans, but I didn't think that there was a single person in the building that would get it.
Anyone reading this get it? I can think of only two that might, and only one that I feel confident will, but the first person who can tell me why that's funny, I'll give a prize to.
It really makes me laugh! I'm such a geek.
And we are still talking about worrying about looking silly, missing planes, how to look older, New Year's Eve, our New Year's Resolutions, dying our hair all kinds of colours, Disneyland, and what we got for Christmas.
