And so, yesterday I did, in fact, get together with Jen and Sara Astruc and Tracing! We all went to Vynl, because hey, we all know how I never go anywhere else.
Jen brought Brad, who used to date her sister (who also used to have a journal, ain't it a small web world), and who was just the cutest little thing you ever did see. He said that he was an architect and a photographer, to which I said, "And Tracing is an architect and I'm a photographer!" and he answered, "Put the two of you together and you get me!"
Who knew that between us two women, we make a penis?
Little Brad and his Amazing Dancing Eyebrows and I had an interesting conversation about photography, about how neither of us really know how to go about making strides in the whole making it our career thing, and he said that friends of his were getting married and they wanted him to take pictures, but he said that they had better get a real photographer as well! "What about me?" I asked, and he laughed, then said, "Wait, yeah! That's a great idea!" so I was all proud of myself for networking and shit.
We had a great time, and heaven only knows why we see Jen almost more often than we see Sara, what with her living in the same city and all.
