13 April I have been on SuperBudget this week, which I don't think that I have mentioned before. My daily spending money was $11.17, which sounds like alot until you realize that $3.50 is for the van. I brought lunch every day, and made a budget spreadsheet and it was like a dare, seeing if I could underspend myself every day, which I actually managed to do! Of course, it helped that Tracing bought me dinner on Tuesday and that Cynthia drove me in on Wednesday and the Company That Must Not Be Named paid for a car home on Thursday, but even without that I would have come out ahead. In fact, I have decided to keep doing it! Not the $11.17 part, but I have my little spreadsheet all set up to divide my paycheck in equal sections after I finished paying my bills. The idea of actually knowing how much money that I have, and not riding that ragged edge of disaster over whether the checks are going to bounce because I have lost track of how much I have spent. I can easily become as obsessive-compulsive over not spending money as I usually am about spending it!
Because I got paid today, I decided to treat myself to picking up one of my rolls of film from the drugstore. There are about eight there, but I really cannot afford to spring more than one per paycheck. I was hoping that it would be a London roll, but it was stuff from Christmas, boring old pictures of Disneyland and my church. Ah well, here are some of them anyway! Boy, do I have a way with words or what?
No idea what this is, but I also know that it doesn't matter, as it was the angle and the line and the colours that are important.
B'loons! I love b'loons!
It's the Merriest Place on Earth, you know...
Again, it's not what the picture is of that is important.
Hey, look, it's me with my purple hair! It really only looks like that for about five minutes after it is fresh-dyed and then it all goes to hell, but I'm just glad that I have proof that it once was the right colour.
There's St. Charles, the church I was baptized in!
A detail of the stonework.
Detail of the door.
And a fancy angle with the blue blue sky.
