This show thing still isn't happening. You should hear my riff when I call actors, "Hi, this is Kymm Zuckert calling from Love Creek, I'm calling to offer you a role in a very funny one-act called Group Therapy which is about this women's therapy group session that just goes all wrong, and it goes up on 7, 8, 9 of November, and I know that's tight but hell, I've put up shows in less time than that, and it's only 17 pages long! Please call me back and let me know if you can do it!"

I wonder if they can hear the flop-sweat in my voice?

I do have one more actor, though, this very sweet little girl who has been in the company for literally five minutes, she just joined the other day. Unfortunately, she plays the girl who sits and doesn't say anything for the whole play.

To get my mind off of my lack of actors last night, Cynthia and I went to the movies.

Actually, what happened was that she was going to work that night, but the show was canceled. However, since she had arranged for babysitting already, she decided not to waste it, so she called me to see what movie she should see.

"What have you seen already? Wait, silly question."
"Yes, you know I haven't seen anything!"
"Let's see...hey, X-Men is still open! And it's at the Worldwide--only $4! You have to see that. In fact, I'll come with you!"

I don't know if that was the fourth or fifth time I saw it, I think it was the fourth, but boy do I love that movie. And it turns out that we were right to go, because I checked this morning and it was no longer at the Worldwide, and if it ain't there, the place movies go to die, it ain't anywhere.

Cynthia loved it too, by the way. I chose good.
