19 March I just got an email from Amanda titled "Again with the late?" which means that I should probably get off my keister and write my entry. I mean, I know that I'm so predictable and like clockwork and all, and it's before 10.30a on the weekdays and (usually) before 1p or 2p on the weekends (all times Eastern, natch),and even if I'm being slow on the weekend, it's always before leaving the house, and I felt terribly guilty that I didn't do it yesterday and that I had to leave again this morning without updating and the guilt was amazing, but it has occurred to me that the person who made that rule was me! So there's a little more freedom than I usually think I do...
Yesterday I got up at 7a (argh!) in order to figure out a costume for my tech and learn my lines for my tech and get breakfast and stuff like that, which was made worse by the Bad Kitty Syndrome (fighting at 3a and 4 a!) and left the house in order to take a picture of a psychologist.

But actually it was for a brochure that Tracing's husband, R., is producing as a marketing tool for said psychologist, and their first try at a photo was pretty sucky, so she suggested me to him (bad grammar, bad!) and an alliance was born. So I got up at 7a. On a Saturday. To take a picture of a psychologist. Who is afraid of having her picture taken. (Just got an email from Melody, I'd better type faster!)
My God it was a beautiful morning. The light was so stunning--I've never seen the Chrysler Building look so beautiful before, like it was made of aluminum foil. I was a little late due to writing down the wrong street (but don't tell R.--he thinks I'm flaky enough as it is!) but not too bad, and the psychologist was extremely nice and I shot four rolls in under an hour. R. arrived in time to help me calm her and jolly her and make her look a little less as though she was being held hostage. It went pretty well, I thought.
Then was the tech. I was studying and studying my lines. I've been even more cavalier than usual in this show, because we are playing actors at a rehearsal, so we have scripts onstage and thus I wrote out all of my lines and all of my cues and didn't learn them! But I couldn't read all of them, because that would be very bad and wrong, not to mention lame, so I hunkered down and stuffed them into my head. Stuff stuff stuff. And the tech went well! The show is funnier and more engaging than I thought it was, but I'm still not making anyone come to it. Not even Tracing! And I make her come to everything. I'm a stitch, but the part is too small to make a fuss over.
Shit, it's almost 11p. I've got to start writing tomorrow's entry!
