Well, since I worked until midnight last night, I didn't get a chance to redesign the front page and debut my new journal title and stuff, but as I was about to write this this morning, I suddenly realized that I hadn't debuted a first-of-the-month design on the first of the month for ages! Probably not once this year.

So, after all that forum stuff yesterday "Should I start a forum? Should I not? What to do, what to do?" I just decided to fucking start one. I mean, why not, right? If it's a hideous disaster, who cares, it'll be fun!

And besides, I am seduced at the idea of posting something anywhere I am, which is I guess why people like blogs. Anyways, here it is!

I dreamt about it again all last night. I dreamt that I woke up this morning and there were 200 new questions and posts and everyone was annoyed that I hadn't posted an answer to their question. I wonder if that dream means I have some anxiety about this enterprise? Nah, probably not.

I don't expect that it will be wildly popular, and everybody's saying "Of course it will be popular! You're popular!" but I really don't think so. And it's not false modesty, as I think that false modesty is for chumps, it's that it takes a certain kind of personality to be a discussion leader, and I don't know that it's my forte.

But, like I said, if I can get over the intense agony of having to think of a question or discussion topic every day (like I don't have to think of enough every day), it'll be a fun little addition, I think.

Wow, I have a journal, I have a forum, I have a Journal of the Week, I have a radio station, I have a book shop, I have an earn-money-while-you-surf enterprise (and it's the first of the month, so it's time to plug!), I'm starting to feel like something out of a science-fiction movie--my brain has been sucked into the computer and I'm stuck in here! Help! I'm in Tron!
