Yesterday, when I was out picking up what turned out to be the worst lunch that I've ever paid $6 for, I suddenly felt a thump on my elbow.

I looked around, but I didn't bump into anything or anyone, then I looked down, and there was a smudge and a seed on my jacket. Someone had thrown a tomato at me!

I can only assume that it wasn't a fan.

So, last night I called that guy who saw me in the show and wanted me to audition for his play, and got a call back this morning only to find that either I misunderstood the actress or she didn't know herself, but it's not a play, it's a movie!

I'll ring back for an appointment time when I get into the office, and in the meantime all I will do is pray over and over again "Dear God, please please please let it be a SAG film, or at least have a SAG waiver--don't let it be non-union!"

I just got my first check from them, because I didn't make over $20 in my first month, so it was added to this month's check. Be patient, if you have just started, and remember that you're not really going to get money until you get a couple of people beneath you.

I'm in my fourth month with them now, and I really do think that it's worth it. The ads aren't really distracting, you can turn them off if you like, and it's free money, which I certainly don't turn my nose up at.
