So I got up an hour early this morning so that I could write my entry before leaving the house, but of course I haven't written a word and I need to go!

Of course if I actually got to my darkroom appointment on time they'd all faint...

I got into work at 9a yesterday, because The Raccoon told me that if I didn't clear the Pile of Shame from my desk before I left on Thursday then she'd do it for me.

Of course I didn't, because I got the check run back from Linus at 6.30p, so I figured that I'd better get in early. I actually came in at the exact same time as she did, because she saw me coming and ran down the street without getting her coffee so that I wouldn't beat her in!

And after all that, I still didn't do the Pile of Shame because I had so much else to do all day! Guess I'll have to get in early on Tuesday, too...

I've been cutting a swath through the Open Pages queue, which was not only embarrassingly large but embarrassingly full of people who applied two months ago and whom I managed to never contact in any way. I must crawl and scrape.

Say, what's up with people not including a reply-to in their emails? So when you try to answer their email you must cut and paste their address? I have never seen this before, but suddenly I've seen twenty instances of it in the past week or two.

Who are these people and what do they gain by not including a reply-to? It can't be that every single one of them forgot.

Liked your entry re "Closer", laughed out loud at the quote about men and baggage. It sounds great in theory but what was my excuse? I mean the van was sitting right there at the curb with it's lights flashing - I guess I thought it belonged to the guy NEXT DOOR!.......
