24 November
Okay, this'll be a non-entry, as I gotta get to work early again this morning.
Yesterday, I was yawning and sleepy all day long, so I did the mail, which needed to be done, but didn't need an intense amount of brain-power in order to accomplish.
By 6p, though, I was shattered, and staggered home to collapse. But I couldn't, because I had to rehearse! Fortunately, I was rehearsing Before Breakfast, the one I'm acting in, which takes a good deal less energy than directing does, so Fran and I worked on that for awhile, then I came back downstairs, puttered a bit because I didn't want to go to bed too early, but at about 10.15p I couldn't bear it anymore, and toppled into bed like an oak.
I probably fell asleep around 11p, woke up at 4.30a to go to the bathroom, and then went back to bed. However, this is when the problems tend to arrive...Usually, when I go to bed horribly early and then get up to pee, after that, the cats think it's Awake Time.
Last night, though, when Monty and Milo crowded up for pets, I didn't, and they let me go back to sleep. Astonishing. Usually that wouldn't work, usually they'd start fighting next to my head, but they kindly refrained, and I slept until 7.30a, happy as a sandboy.
And now I've gotta get to work, so see you tomorrow!

But first, news for lovers of the Beany Malone books by Lenora Mattingly Weber, those who have tried to buy them used from the thieving Book Hostage (not its real name) and found absurd prices like $250, they have been re-released and are available at Borders,
Barnes and Noble and the publisher,
Image Cascade.
Hooray!

Today's horoscope:
Communication is vital today at work. There may be extra correspondence, phone calls, or office chitchat. Humor will help.
One year ago today:
Thank heavens it's over, I am simply shattered!
