11 November I just realized that when I mentioned my new show, I forgot to mention my other new show! The other day, Fran says to me, "Have you spoken to Le recently?" ME No, why? FRAN Well, I don't know if I'm letting cats out of bags, but I'm cast as your off-stage husband in a show. Remember that O'Neill one-act that I mentioned to you? The one woman show? That one. ME Really? Who's directing? FRAN He didn't say, I guess it's still up in the air. (The next day, as I come home.) FRAN (calling down the stairs) Can you come up here a minute? I have something to teeeeeellllll yoooooouuuuu!! ME I guess you've found out who that director is, huh? FRAN Yeah, I kinda misunderstood Le, actually, I'm the director! So I'm acting and directing at the same time, with the second show (that I still have neither discovered the title nor seen the script) but rehearsals will be easy enough to schedule around the other show, what with us living in the same house and all. Beth sent me this message from her forum, 'cause she knows that I never read forums. Robyn wrote: "A few nights before that, I dreamt that I was house-sitting at Kymm's apartment, and she was coming home and I had been very lax about cleaning and such, and I had to get her apartment cleaned before she got home, and her cats were running around being very bad. The whole dream was of me cleaning. It was pretty dreary, because I was just cleaning FOREVER." I howled when I read this, because of course I live basically in the city dump, so the idea of it getting worse because someone is lax just kills me. Not to mention the fact that the thing that someone dreams about me is a messy apartment and bad kitties. Yep, that's me! That's the best dream about me since this one! Meta-meta. Our Marki is back again, because, as I told him, he doesn't like keeping a journal, just starting them. And I'm darn grateful, 'cause I miss him when he's gone. Meghan is back again again, and the same last comment applies to her as well, Rick has redesigned, Aussie and Madge have moved and redesigned, and Scott is going to redesign and rename, but he's procrastinating. And I want to say that I wrote this about Nigel's entry before I read this about Nigel's entry. Clearly, great minds think alike!
