25 May

So I woke up yesterday morning to discover the newest skirmish in this year's Ant Invasion.

Were they in the kitchen? You know, where the food is? Nope. How about the corner where the catbox is? Nope. The bathroom? There's toothpaste in the bathroom, you know! Nope.

They were all the way at the other end of the apartment, where there is no food, all over my clean clothes! So I sprayed my clean clothes, thus making them a good deal less clean, and the walls and my bedroom and the whole thing is really annoying.

What is with these stupid ants?

Although actually, they seem to be really on the ball in other ways, like when I saw them on the floor and I was looking for more of them, following the trail, and I was looking at my lovely pile of folded clean clothes, thinking "Isn't that sock supposed to be white? Why does it have black spots?"

But it was the ants, frozen, hoping that I wouldn't notice them, but when I made a move towards them, they scattered.

Crafty things, these Weehawken ants.

Not that I assume that many people will care at this point, but apparently Ophelia Z was never Kat, she was always Ryan.

As I said on Diary-L last night, "Gee, I guess you must have thought that note I sent Kat that one time saying "Tell that pushy Ryan to get the hell off my back" was pretty funny, huh?

I think it's interesting that I have always said, when asked "How do you know that people are who are they say they are?" that people are more fully themselves in their online journals, and that almost none of them are less than true, and now it turns out that one of the very first journals, and the person that began Open Pages is nothing but a big lie.

Maybe they're all lies, who knows? Well, except for me.

By the way, all you journal writers who are not on Diary L or Journals L, the Diarist Awards are in the voting stage, so go vote!

When I was checking my entry for a year ago today for my "year ago today" link (go figure), and I mentioned Subway Stories, now defunct, and I thought I'd click the link to see if it was still active, and there was a link there to something new!

It's Ftrain!
