Sorry this is so late, but I didn't have time to update before I had rehearsal this afternoon.
Nik came over last night to watch the Holyfield/Lewis fight on pay-per-view with Cynthia and Fran and I, which was really something.
For those who didn't watch the fight, Lewis clearly won, so clearly that even I noticed, and I am not one who is know for her clear-eyed insight of the intricacies of boxing, but one judge marked Holyfield the winner, one Lewis, and one an exact tie, so it was a draw.
Except that it wasn't, not really. The judges were bought, and Don King bought 'em.
Nik slept over (but not with me, so don't get all excited) because the fight was so late, and I made blueberry muffins for breakfast, then went to rehearsal.
I know I sound a little dopey, but I am horrendously sleepy. We only went to bed at 4a or something, and I was awake at 8a, though I only got up at 10.30a because I had given him one of my pillows and I can't sleep with only one pillow.
I have to babysit tonight, so I'm going to try to catch a quick nap for a couple of hours.
