Had a relaxing day of sloth yesterday, but realized at that end that I had done rather alot!

Between bouts of general lounging, I managed to wash three loads of laundry, sweep the floor, wash the dishes, change the cat box, go to the store, and take out the trash!

Well, put it by the door, anyway...

It was a gorgeous day and I spent a portion sitting with the family in the backyard.

It's funny, I don't think that I spent even four days out there last summer, and it's so great! Of course, I didn't have a laptop last year, pathetically enough.

Molly was swinging from sweet to bratty, as per usual. At one point, Fran was going to go to the store and Molly was demanding that he go later. I told Cynthia "All you keep giving birth to is Lucy Van Pelt over and over again!"

I can only brace myself and wait for Bonnie to start getting into her bossy stage.

While Fran was gone, I was fooling around with Bonnie, trying to stop her from putting inappropriate things into her mouth.

Fran's a germ freak, you see, though you wouldn't think to look at him, and I think that it's really only about things that the kids put in their mouths, especially if pool-related.

Anyway, she was attempting to put a filthy rubber hot dog bun into her mouth, and I said "No, Bonnie, don't put that in your mouth, Daddy will have apoplexy!" and Bonnie said back to me "Apo!" while is her word for apple.

"Plexy!" I answered.
"Apo!"
"Plexy!"
"Apo!"
"Plexy!"

It never got old. And when I went into the house to get my dinner, she called through the window "Apo!" and I called back "Plexy!" like a dry land version of Marco Polo.

Of course, when Fran got back, she wouldn't demonstrate.

Some stupid email went out the other day about some stupid journal site that no-one is interested in (remind me again why these weird people think that people who already have journals would want to start a group journal on their site?) and certainly I'm not interested, but my point is that at the bottom of the email it said "This email should only be sent to those who have a very cool on-line journal" and literally everyone got it.

Except for me!

I'm not cool enough to get the unwanted spam that everyone else gets!

Watched Siskel & Ebert last night, and they reviewed Return With Honor!! And raved, might I add.

I still can't find it playing anywhere on the entire East Coast, but at least it means that it's coming!
