Sorry about yesterday, darlings (there is an entry up now if you haven't seen it yet!), but I couldn't sign on before I left for work in the morning, and no signing on, no entry!
Of course, because I couldn't upload until I got home at 10.30p I got an all-time high of 938 hits, 300 more than I've ever gotten before! I know it's all re-loading, but it's terribly exciting to see it so close to 1000.
And why am I so late updating today?
Because I took the day off from work after all! The Raccoon is taking Tuesday off, and I was so overcome with jealousy at the idea of a four day weekend that I decided to today. After all, we did the check run yesterday and there really isn't anything to do today, and the part-timer is there, so they can do without me.
I'm gonna be in much more trouble on Tuesday, as I'll be all alone, it will be the first day back from a long weekend (always slightly hysterical) and The Evil Overlord will have returned from her holiday. I'm not looking forward to it, but that's four days from now, so who cares?
Woohoo!!
Of course, this first day of my four day weekend won't be entirely restful, as rather than spending nine hours at work, I'm spending nine hours in the darkroom doing Cynthia "My show is opening on Friday!" 's headshots and Michelle "my anniversary is this week!" 's wedding pictures.

Nor did I get a thousand years of sleep, even though I went to bed at 1a and got up at 10.30a, because I've been drinking so much water lately that I was up about six times to go to the bathroom (usually I only get up once) and each time it took me a year to get back to sleep because it was so humid and the cats would immediately start being bad.
But it's okay, because this is my throwaway extra day that I can work really hard during and not get enough sleep and things, because I still have a three day weekend at the end of it!
