Sorry about yesterday, guys (and if you missed that entry, it's here)!
I am quite the creature of habit, you see, and the only way I can remember to do things is if I make them part of an ingrained routine. I think I must have done things in the wrong order yesterday, since I turned on the computer and checked my e-mail and read Beth's new entry, and...
Turned off the computer and blithely wandered away like a baby duck, completely forgetting to upload yesterday's entry!
Every time something dreadful happens and I can't upload, I bitch incessantly if I don't get plenty of tear-stained e-mails, but I have trained you well, my little grasshoppers! O the wailing and gnashing of teeth! Very gratifying.
You know those commercials where people have dyed their hair and people say "What's different? Have you lost weight?" Did you think that they were silly and unrealistic?
Well, when I saw Nik after getting back from vacation, he looks right at me and my newly jet black tresses, and says "Hey, you got some sun while you were in LA!"
It's funny that even with the black hair, I have decided that I am still a redhead. I mean, I'm keeping the black for a year or so, and remember that I'm a natural blonde, but I have a redheaded soul.
Adam at work (carrots and freckles himself) still calls me Red!
I got the number one funniest e-mail ever yesterday. It was, in its entirety (minus the e-mail address:
"I was wondering if u sell calvin klein jockstraps or know who does sell them please email me at ***@hotmail.com"
