(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

16 April

Man, yesterday was a pain.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, but I never thought that anyone could possibly be worse than the loathsome Bat Girl, but The Evil Overlord has her beat in spades.

She has this hideous habit of saying something idiotic, I (or The Raccoon) will say something sensible in return, and she laughs. Not nastily, but merrily, as though we are making a little joke.

She asked me if I had had Linus sign a form that I was supposed to send out with a check the day before, and I said no, and pulled the backup, on which there was a little note saying to include the attached with the check, nothing about getting it signed first.

"See, you didn't say that it needed signing."
"But you should have checked!"
"But if you were putting a note on it saying to send it out, why would you not say that it needed signing?"
"You need to check things before you send them out."
"When I get them, I assume that they are ready to go out!"

Of course, it turns out that the form hadn't needed to be signed after all, but the stupid woman is driving me crazy.

After work I went to the show at the theatre that I didn't much want to see, but needed to support my friends involved and blah blah blah.

I missed the first one-act, the second one was a cute ten minute sketch, but for the fact that it was a thirty minute piece and the girl in it really needed to wear a bra.

The second act was three of Le's one acts, the first one was a one joke play, but it was very funny, the second one I've seen about a billion times, most recently in an appalling production, but this was really great, and the last piece was the one that I taught Sam and Beth the accents for, which was unbelievably good.

So it wasn't a wasted evening.

Welcome to the world Georgia Maeve Logue Gutbezahl!

It's a slightly late welcome, as she is six whole days old now, but there is a time difference between here and London after all. Perhaps not a six day time difference, but I never claimed to be prompt.

Congrats Greg and Elaine!
