I don't know what's wrong with my brain, but somehow I managed to forget to mention in yesterday's entry that I had had lunch with my friend Rosalind on Tuesday!

Okay, I've written better sentences. But my point being that my friend Rosalind, whom I have not seen in seven years, was visiting from England with her husband and step-daughter and we all had lunch together and she gave me two great-smelling bars of soap (she reads this page, you see!) and we had a swell time and when time came to write yesterday's entry, I forgot about her!

God I feel guilty...

If you're paying attention, you may be wondering what's with all the Neil Diamond quotes as entry titles?

Well, the CD of the day for pretty much the whole week has been the two record set "Neil Diamond Greatest Hits 1966-92", which is really wonderful, if you manage not to think "What greatest hit did Neil Diamond have anywhere near 1992?" and honestly, the last three songs on the second cd fall into the "huh???" category, but the other 34 songs are keepers, so that's not a bad ratio.

Some of the songs are live versions, and it certainly seems as though he gives one hell of a live show. At some key sections he sounds as though he might be having a stroke.
