(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

30 November

Here it is, my very last day at Inet! I wonder if it will be up in celebration? If, like most people, you haven't been able to reach me since Tuesday, the entries you missed start here.

So yesterday I spent the day in front of the computer again. Which means that I spent almost the whole weekend in that very spot!

I don't feel like I wasted the weekend, though, since I got an astonishing amount of stuff done! I am nearly done with the move to the new site (just need to get Verdana off of two months of pages), I went through the whole Open Pages queue and added everyone I could add and kicked off everyone that refused to follow instructions and basically cut the queue almost in half, and I wrote my crit, turning it in on time and everything!

Man, am I impressed with myself!

This was a real A&E weekend for me, since that was practically the only channel I watched!

On Friday they showed hours and hours of British mysteries, and I watched Morse and Frost and someone else whom I didn't recognize and I didn't catch the title. The thing that struck me as funny was that in two out of these three shows, incest was a major plot-point!

Some sort of bizarre theme day...

And then yesterday was my wonderful Pride and Prejudice, that I have seen about ten times and still have not gotten my fill of.

The most exciting thing that happened yesterday (besides the whole business with Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy) happened while I was washing the dishes last night and I stepped back for a second, and noticed a gigantic flood all over the floor!

It took a whole roll of paper towels, my dish towel, my bath towel, and Friday's newspaper to stem the tide, which was clearly oozing out from under the sink. So I went up and told Cynthia that I needed a plumber.

Moments like that, I'm happy I'm the tenant and not the home-owner!

Linkage alert, I was a panelist for the Whitman Awards, and approve heartily of the winners, and, after whining in an appalling manner for simply months, Dawn finally was bludgeoned into putting me on her link page.

Normally, I wouldn't fuss so, but it is an especially good link page, and I wanted to see what drink she'd put with my journal.

Totally besides her good taste in linking MEEE, she has a mighty fine journal herself. Go look!

Today's horoscope:
Someone dear encourages your extravagance. Fun is fine, but don't get carried away!
