(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

26 November

Inet was down all day yesterday. I do not yet know whether it is up today, but since it's a holiday, I won't hold my breath!

If I do manage to upload, yesterday's entry is here.

Work yesterday was amusing.

The most important thing I had to do was to get the checks out, but since Linus didn't give them back to me until, get this, 5p, I managed to get alot of other stuff done, too.

Linus said, after I reminded him about the checks for the 95th time, "Can't you get them out on Friday?" and I looked at him as though he were insane. The office is, of course, open on Friday, and there will be people in Billing and Accessioning and the lab and Shipping and Client Services, but if there is even a single person in Admin, I'll fall over from the shock.

Until last year (I was moving) I always worked the day after Thanksgiving, but not no more, baby!

After I left work, I decided to continue on my fruitless search for a 1lb roll of turkey sausage in the city.

So I went to a supermarket near my job and picked up all of the things that I still needed before discovering that they not only didn't have the Big Lump O' Turkey Sausage, but they didn't even have the links!

So, for some bizarre reason, I had a ton of groceries to lug home to Jersey, and I still had to go to the store near my house!

So, after getting my second load of groceries, I peeled the sausage and made the cornbread and the bread pudding and swept the floor and cleaned the toilet, and, though I still have to mop and deal with my clothes all over the floor in the bedroom, I think I'm in pretty good shape!

Heather is home with the baby, and if you want to read about the birth, here it is!

Shit! I forgot to buy cranberry sauce! How the hell could I have forgotten cranberry sauce? Going back to the store.
