So yesterday New Chick was out sick, so I had to work very very hard all the livelong day!
Yeah, right.
I'm not deaf again!
I sluiced it in the morning (sluice it in the morning, sluice it in the evening, sluice it at supper-time!), and though it didn't dramatically pop like it did the night before, it slowly got clearer and clearer as the day wore on, until I suddenly realized that the phone was pressed to my right ear and I could actually make out what the person on the other end was saying!
So it seems that all is well and I'm not going to the doctor on Friday!
Since I didn't work much yesterday, it was a day for webby things.
I at last started The Great Re-Design for hedgehog.net, meaning that I made an index page and re-did the entire month of May.
Of course, the entire month of May was only six days long and it took an hour, so I am in horror at the idea of how long this whole move is gonna take.
Then I started writing my Planet Amazon column, only a week and a half late for deadline, since both Sandra and I totally flaked--I forgot and she forgot to remind me!
I didn't finish it, but I nearly did!
And then, and then!
Even though I am a bad dreadful person who missed her deadline, Sandra gave me a listserv!
You see, the Tell Me All About It list has gotten much too big and unwieldy for me to deal with in Eudora, so I begged prettily and she gave it to me, because she is a good kind person who doesn't deserve the tsuris of being my editor!
(I'll finish it tomorrow, I swear!)
