I woke up this morning, wandered into the kitchen without putting my glasses on, and there was so much light coming through the window, I mean it was really blinding, and I was totally confused until I walked over and squinted out...

Snow. It was snow.

Not just a couple of flakes, either, at least a foot! No snow for the entire damn winter, and now that it's spring there's suddenly more snow than you could shake a stick at!

I think my head is going to explode...

So yesterday I had another good rehearsal for my terrible play, and I realize that we will be doing the playwright a dis-service, because she'll never know that her lines don't work and are almost impossible to say if my actors do such a good job.

After rehearsal I decided to go over to the Roundabout and get a ticket for Cabaret. They didn't have any good tickets until July, so I decided to wait and see it on my birthday! Got a great great ticket on 23 August and I can't wait!!

You know that old saw that you should always go to the supermarket after eating because then you won't compulsively buy a bunch of junk?

Well, it's a terrible idea!

Yeah, I didn't buy any junk that I shouldn't get, but I was so entirely not hungry that I couldn't think of a single thing that I wanted to eat!

I ended up with blank video tapes, cat food, Pepsi, and a Tombstone pizza, which I only knew that I wanted because I remembered being disappointed that I didn't have one the other day. Anyway, I'm clearly going to have to go back to the store later this week to get more food.

Unless I can invent a recipe for a delicious meal consisting chiefly cat food and blank video tapes!
