9 June It's really something. After years of slavish devotion to The Body Shop and its products, I have found a new altar of beauty at which to worship. It's only been two days since I've been using Origins, but I have completely converted, partially because Sunday night at the show, after using the various products for the first time only hours before, one of the other actors remarked on the fact that my skin looked all fabulous and glowing and stuff.
At that moment, I realized that I could never go back!
And it's only twice as expensive as The Body Shop!
Also, I've used all three shampoos I bought, and they are doing extraordinary things to my hair! Good thing I didn't buy any Origins conditioner, because I would have blinded people with my beauty while walking down the street!
I was at the front desk and the head of human resources came up to me and asked me to page her if a certain person called, because "I'm going to be in the conference room for sexual harassment". I blinked a couple of times before I realized that she meant that we were having some sort of seminar in the conference room, not... O, you know!
Diane Patterson's The Paperwork is tragically no more! No, she hasn't quit, she has re-designed and re-named, and now it's called Nobody Knows Anything, and after the initial shock wore off, I decided that it was just swell! The journal is dead, long live the journal!
