Well, my rant about how no-one told me how swell my photo page redesign was bore great fruit and many people were kind enough to stroke me and pet me and calm my insecurities.

But feel free to do it some more...

I have gone font mad!!!

On Sunday, Gregory asked me if I was into fonts and I answered truthfully that I barely knew one from another (besides my fave, Footlight MT Light), and though I didn't realize it at the time, that put the idea of fonts in the back of my head.

Then, on Monday when I was re-doing my photo page, I made my very first graphics (awww...it's that cute?). They were, in fact, the simplest graphics in the wide world, just the words "moments", "photography by kymm zuckert", and an arrow that I had in the wingdings font that came with my machine in the first place, but I was very proud of them, thankyouverymuch.

And then I remembered that some months back I had downloaded a bunch of zipped fonts but had never unzipped them, so I did that little thing. And they are fantastic! I never imagined such wonderful fonts, like , and , and

And those are only the ones beginning with "A"!

I dreamt about fonts Tuesday night. I dreamt about fonts last night.
Fonts to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am...

Lately I have found myself calling people and cats sugar or shug (which, in the cat's case can sometimes lead to the unfortunate "sugar booger"), rather than honey and baby and angel as I am wont to do, and I had absolutely no idea where I had pulled that from until the other day when I heard Cynthia call Katie "sugar" and Molly "shug" and it hit me that I had probably unconsciously picked it up from her.

Damn! I thought I was being original...

Yesterday I was complaining about LeAnn Rimes' stinking "How am I Supposed to Live Without You" song, and I got a note from my friend Josh telling me to count my blessings that I've never heard the techno remix...

I answered that I now consider myself the luckiest person on the face of the earth...
