Well, the show was, in fact, much better than Thursday night.

We opened the Williams one acts last night, which went extremely well. I felt really good, Sam was rock solid as per usual, Kevin was good, if slightly jazzed by the audience which caused him to go slightly over the top (a fact that he was the first to admit).

I am rarely outwardly affected by an audience, though if I were to be, it would have been last night, as the audience was really into it. Got all my laughs.

Of course, I decided to wait until yesterday morning right before I had to leave the house for work to try and find my shoes.

I thought it would be fairly easy, because even though they are still packed up in Box Mountain, there is a box clearly marked "Shoes" (you see what's coming, don't you?"

So I opened the box, and by golly, there one of them was, right on top! But when I dug through the box I found that one was, in fact, all there was. So I started digging through all these boxes and bags, and I did find some other stuff I needed, like makeup and chunky jewelry, but the shoe was not to be found. So I had to wear my Capezios, which are cripplers.

One of these days, I really must unpack.

There is general hysteria at The Company That Must Not Be Named what with our moving next week and being audited this week.

It's not an IRS audit, it's an outside audit. I think it's because we're a public company, we must be audited before we release our report. Whatever. All I know is that Bat Girl was crying in the bathroom, and Adam, normally a happy-go-lucky type, is grim and tense.

This does affect my department a bit, but not at all as much as it affects Finance, but all I have to do is pull requested invoices, paid and unpaid.

I'm sure glad I don't care! I don't need that kind of tension in my life!

Boy howdy, only CBS would think that having Kennedy as a commentator would be a good idea. I think they think she's hip.
