1 February Surprise! Well, it's February and that's Valentine's month, so I decided on hearts, but it's not all red and pink so it won't be dreadfully passé on 15 February. And I made the logo with my own tiny delicate lily-white hands!!! It's nothing like as nice as the ones Lucy made for me, but it uses one of my swell new fonts, so I'm happy. And I finally decided to retire the little at work guys. They have served me well, but the joke has gotten really old.
So yesterday I got an e-mail from Kat asking me to please take over the Open Pages ring management for a bit, because she was almost never online anymore and was embarrassed by the size of the queue, so after rehearsal I checked through the queued sites. Now, there really aren't that many requirements in joining the ring, you must have a current journal that you must update at least once monthly, you must have at least seven entries, and you must have the ring fragment on the linked page. Sounds pretty simple, no? But out of thirty-eight sites, only eight fulfilled all of the requirements! Sometimes the problems were simple mistakes, but others? It's the ones that don't have a journal at all that get me...why are they wasting my time?
You know the best thing about having a washing machine? If you get up in the morning and you want to wear your jeans that you left on the bathroom floor the night before, and when you go to put them on you find that some unspecified cat had pooped on them, you could put them in the washer and put them in the dryer and in an hour or so they'd be brand clean and you'd be able to wear them after all! Not that this has ever happened to me...
You know what I hate? I spent all night the other night dreaming in a very realistic manner of coding and working on my pages, and when I woke up I realized that I had to do the whole thing again!! Damn...
