(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

12 December

Exhausted, tired, busy, blah blah blah.

I saw Billy Bragg last night, and it was just great, but I got in really late and I need to go into work today and I have to get in reasonably early, since I have to be at tech at 6p, so what I'm trying to convey here is that I really don't have time to write. Here are a few stories that I've been saving for just such an occasion.

Personally, I think that horoscope down at the bottom of the page is pretty funny, since tonight I have the tech for my show...

o never mind.

Okay, in People Magazine awhile back there was an article about a TV preacher who hired a hitman to off some guy, and he is quoted as saying "I'm through dealing with this p _ _ _ k"

"P _ _ _ k?" I thought, "What the hell is a p _ _ _ k?"

It took me three days to figure out that the word in question was "prick". If it hadn't been censored, I would never have given it a second thought.

I was at the front desk, and a girl from the lab went out to get lunch, and when she got back she looked at me over her sunglasses and said:

"That jog to the deli was exhausting. Luckily, they had nourishment!"

Maybe you had to be there, but I thought it was hilarious!

I took the mail down the other day, dropping it in the back lobby for pickup, and the doorman was on the phone, talking very loudly indeed about government conspiracies.

I'm guessing they're not screening those doormen real well...

Today's horoscope:
Dramatic instincts are strong today and add excitement to your love life. Role-playing each other's fantasies may heighten libidos.

One year ago today:
Of course, now people are starting to stumble into work, coughing and bleary-eyed, giving me the hairiest of hairy eyeballs...
