(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

8 December

Sorry this is so late, my darlings, but I didn't got into work today, so I leisurely got up at 11.15a. Felt great, too. Why is it so much better to get up in the middle of the morning during the week than on Saturday?

Conversely, it's like a hundred times worse to get up at 8a on Saturday. It's like being punished. Of course, this assumes that you are a normal person with a normal, healthy hatred of rising early not a big ol' freak like Lizzie!

And why did I not got into work today?

Because Cynthia and Fran were both going to do extra work at their dojo (karate school) for some movie or another, so she asked me to please please please take the day off work and babysit, so I agreed, and yesterday I told The Raccoon, finished the check run, cleared my desk, then found out that the shoot had been canceled.

At that point (around 10p) I figured that I had already taken the day off, I might as well just take the day off!

Now that I'm all self-conscious about talking about popularity, I am loathe to mention this, but it's just so wild that I simply must!

Where the fuck are all these people coming from? Yesterday I got a new hit high, by far, 573 for heaven's sake, which is at least half again over what I get on my best days!

I've gotten 400 so few times that I'm thrilled whenever that happens, but yesterday was the ne plus ultra!

Please, anyone, let me know where you're coming from! I can't get the referrer stats to work with Stattrax (great counter otherwise), so I haven't a clue, and I'm dying of curiosity.

I got a bunch of e-mails yesterday that made me laugh like a drain, because what they said in so many words was:

"Sure, you're shallow, but we like you shallow!"

Praise, indeed!

Guess who's back?

I knew that he couldn't stay away! Journalling is like heroin, baby, once you get started, it's a mighty difficult habit to break.

Today's horoscope:
A little reminiscing and nostalgia reminds you of what was good in the "good, old days." Enjoy.

One year ago today:
The word "doth" does not rhyme with "moth".
