So I was at work again yesterday.

I got there at 4p and worked and worked and worked and...sat there while Alexey kept taking the system down (it wasn't malicious--he didn't know I was going to be there, and he had work to do, too!), and worked some more.

At about 9p I decided to just stay as late as it would take and not come in today, and I ended up staying until 1.10a. Would have been later, too, but the system came down all by itself at midnight (long after Alexey had left) and kept insisting at me that nobody should be working after midnight on a Sunday, but I had done nearly all my work so I filed everything and went home.

And as I was sitting there, my nose started to run. So I showed up at 4p perfectly healthy, and left at 1.10a with a streaming cold.

I think I'm allergic to my job.

Before I went to work yesterday, I went to rehearsal for my show that opens in just over a week. And I sat there with Paul for hours and hours waiting for Heathe to show until we started thinking that he was in an accident or something, so I rang him, and then he rang back and said that he had shown up and waited outside for half an hour, but nobody ever rang the doorbell.

I mean, I never mind not rehearsing, but it is getting close to the wall here...

On my way to work, I stopped in at Burger King and grabbed some lunch. The girl asked me if I wanted ketchup, and I said "No. However, I would like some salt." and she looked startled. I couldn't figure out if it was because I turned down ketchup, because salt is an unusual request, or because she had never heard anyone say the word "however" in a Burger King before.

The other day, Judy at work gave me a late birthday present! It's Ananya scent bath gel, soap and lotion plus a great wooden back scrubber from the Body Shop.

I think it's official. I now have more bath stuff than anyone else in the world.

One year ago today:
Philip will never live it down.
