So yesterday I managed to get over to Love Creek in time to do the shoot for America the Beautiful, zapped the pictures in half an hour (it's a very visual show, which make it easy on me) then tore over to Dracula with seconds to spare.

And nothing was sweeter than getting done at 8.30p

Rebecca did a bunch of cuts, and the show came down in 3 hours 27 minutes, which is a treat. Saturday she cut the first and third acts, and the first act came down at 57 minutes instead of 59, which certainly made me leap with joy, but she cut large chunks out of the third act (two less light cues for me, hooray!), and yesterday there was stuff gone from the second act.

Three hours twenty-seven minutes is livable.

And that meant that I got home in time to watch most of Persuasion!
I dig those movies where the plain girl gets the cute guy.

The most interesting New York moment I've had recently was a homeless guy on the subway saying that his spaceship had crashed on this planet and then proceeding to sing the Theme From Gilligan's Island.

Which was marginally better than giving us all anal probes.

One year ago today:
