The show was much better last night, thanks for asking!

Both actors came out of the gate with so much snap and energy and said all of their lines and picked up their cues and things, and the playwright was there and he was not there on Tuesday, so that was good.

I messed up three of my sixteen sound cues, though. But better me screwing up than the actors!

When I walked through the door of the theatre, the first person I saw was my Candyman, waiting to go upstairs for his rehearsal. And he turned around and his face lit up so bright it was like the sun coming out, and he threw open his arms and hugged me hard.

I may be embellishing it in my memory, but I'm not sure...

So after all this "black on white is good" stuff, now that I completely co-incidentally changed my page I'm getting notes saying:

"We hate black on white! Get rid of it!!"

I can't win, can I? What the hell, I liked it the old way and I like it this way and all that really matters is if I'm happy with it, which I am.

So yesterday I was looking at the TV Guide, and most of the CBS line-up, i.e. The Nanny, Murphy Brown, and Chicago Hope, which last season were on Monday nights are now on Wednesday. Which means that all yesterday, I kept thinking it was Monday!

CBS is playing with my braaaaaaaaiiiin!!!!

One year ago today:
