(The Mighty Kymm--you'll not see nothing like!)

21 November

Work yesterday was a hideous nightmare.

I worked all day long like a little bunny, just rabbeting away, work work work, and then at the very end of the day the system crashed, which means that they're going to have to use the backup tapes from Wednesday and today I will have to re-live yesterday and do all that work again. Now, I'm already a day behind because of the training on Tuesday, so now I'm even farther behind.

This would be the perfect weekend to come in and earn some extra scratch, but that ain't happening. I have got to pack!

After work I went over to Love Creek and saw the new show, Seven Keys to Baldpate, which is billed as a Mysterious Melodramatic Farce. Which it was!

It took me a little minute to get into it, as the two actors who began the show had the most revolting accents known to man, but as the show wore on (and those actors left the stage), I enjoyed it more and more.

My pal Gregg David Shore absolutely walked away with everything as a crazy hermit, and afterwards I whispered to him "You stole the show!" and he grinned and said "I know!"

Gregg and I have a good deal in common!

Yesterday the word came down on Diary-L that Carolyn and Gus were featured in Netguide!

So I wandered over there and she mentions at the end of the column that if anyone knows of any other neat homepages to let her know. So of course I wrote:

"Well, no doubt you will be hearing from all of the other diarists now that you have featured our Gus and Carolyn, saying "Hey, what about me? What am I, chopped liver?" but I don't want to be that bold. I will just meekly, humbly send you my little URL and hope that the day that you take a look will not be the day that I have just put any old shit up there."

And about an hour later she said that she had added me to the list! I popped over there and saw that Renee and Scott had had the exact same impulse!

No fools they!

I'm going to see The Candyman's show tonight.

I rang him yesterday and asked him the directions, and he offered to pick me up from the station if I got there before his call. I'll know when I see him, but I really feel as though I'm over him.

Hmmm...
