So yesterday we had a read-through of my friend John's screenplay.

It was okay. Mighty long--two and a half hours long. Epic length for a small film about three friends in New York. I wanted to write about the reading, but I realize that it was supremely uneventful.

Ah well, on with the rest of the entry.

I was reading in In Style magazine that the absolute cutting edge of eyeshadow is pink. Now, I don't wear makeup, but on the rare occasions that I do, I always wear pink! For once in my life I'm totally cool!

Well, for at least the next ten minutes, until the stylish people start wearing brown or purple or something.

I watched part of a Gallagher special on Comedy Central yesterday. It was like watching Spanish or Japanese TV and you see these people laughing and laughing and pounding their thighs and wiping away tears of mirth, and I don't understand at all what they are laughing at.

It's like getting a comedy transmission from another planet.

Found a fun page through Still Xiled (I think--I bookmarked it awhile ago) called The Universal translator. It takes any page and translates it into Skinhead, Pimp, Smurf, Australian, or Cockney Rhyming Slang.

It's great fun. I think I like skinhead best.
