So of course all of my fears were for naught.

I got an e-mail from Nick yesterday saying that the pictures were good--better in fact than some of the artwork that was already in the gallery.

Phew!

So I was watching Pop-Up Video yesterday, a show that I love because it's so obnoxious, and that I hate because you really do have to watch it every little minute or you'll miss something good and I like to read while I watch TV.

Anyway, Mariah Carey's "Sweet Sweet Fantasy Baby" (or whatever the hell it's called) video came on. Now due to my intense aversion to Mariah Carey, I have never listened to the whole song before, so I never noticed that it was ripped off (or sampled, whatever) from The Tom-Tom Club's "Genius of Love".

There was this hilarious row of pop-ups:
"In 1994 Mariah Carey covered Harry Nilsson's Without Love"
"Four days after it's release, Nilsson dies of a heart attack."
"The members of The Tom-Tom Club are all still alive."
