Man, I had nothing to do at work yesterday!

My desk is completely cleared. I was so bored that I ended up voluntarily filing things, because it was either that or returning phone calls, and I never do any filing.

Diane practically fainted!

One fun thing yesterday was that two of my favourite sales reps were there, Rich and Paul.

I talk to them both every day when I'm on the phones, and they both flirt with me (Rich is the one that sent me Chicklets), and it was really interesting to meet them both in real life. I always fear meetings like that, because I think they might look at me and recoil, thinking "That's what I've been flirting with? Yerg!" but if they felt that, they hid it well.

At about 5.15 yesterday, John said "Well, are we going to see Boogie Nights tonight?" and I said "No, I can't, I've gotta go vote!" and he got mad at me!

How can anyone get mad at someone for wanting to vote rather than go to the movies? It's my Civic Duty, for heaven's sake! Plus, it's fun!

In (re-elected mayor) Rudy Giuliani's acceptance speech he claimed that there would be no more drugs in the city.

"No more heroin, no more cocaine, no more marijuana!"

Wow! That sounds impressive! You reckon it's election night crap? Nah...
